Custom Lanyard Materials

Every custom lanyard starts with the right material. The fabric you choose shapes how your artwork prints, how the strap feels, and how well it holds up to daily wear — so it pays to match the material to the job.

  • Polyester — Our most popular and most affordable option. A smooth, flat weave that takes screen-printed artwork crisply — great for logos and text in a few solid colors.
  • Nylon — Slightly shinier and silkier than polyester with a premium hand-feel, and prints just as cleanly.
  • Woven — Your text and logo are woven directly into the fabric instead of printed on top, so the design never fades or peels. The most durable, premium choice.
  • Tube — A round, rope-like strap with a casual look that’s popular at sporting events and giveaways.
  • Heat transfer — Full-color, photographic printing for complex logos, gradients, and detailed multi-color artwork.

Hardware & Attachment Options

The attachment is how your lanyard connects to a badge, keys, or a phone — pick the one that fits how it’ll be used. Every option is included at no extra charge.

  • Swivel hook — The most popular all-purpose clip; rotates so a badge always sits face-out.
  • J-hook — A simple open hook that’s quick to clip and unclip.
  • Bulldog clip — A flat spring clip with a strong grip, great for ID cards and name badges.
  • Badge reel — A retractable cord that pulls out to swipe a card, then snaps back.
  • Key ring & cell-phone loop — For keys, whistles, or holding a phone around the neck.

Add a breakaway safety clasp for everyday safety — the connector pops apart instantly if the lanyard is pulled or snagged, then clicks back together. It’s a must-have for schools and anywhere lanyards are worn around equipment.

Lanyard Width Options

  • 1/2" — A popular all-purpose width with room for a logo plus a line of text. A great everyday choice for events and staff badges.
  • 3/4" — Extra space for more detailed, multi-color artwork while staying comfortable to wear.
  • 1" — The widest, most premium strap. Ideal for full-color photographic heat-transfer printing and bold, edge-to-edge designs.

Bulk Custom Lanyards
