The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) is a college-based program that trains commissioned officers of the United States armed forces.  ROTC officers serve in all branches of the U.S. armed forces. The ROTC program is college based; however, it begins at the High School level as a JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps). As with all other forms of military involvement, challenge coins are a highly treasured item among the JROTC members.

Intrerlachen High School recognized the importance the challenge coins have to its JROTC and ask us to help create a coin it can award its 2011-2012 school year ROTC graduates.  After hearing their design ideas, we were able to create an award rich in detail and sentimental value.

As you can see from the picture posted here, a lot of effort went into designing this attractive coin.  The use of color plays a big role.  Black and yellow are often used in Army-themed merchandise.  You’ll also see a distinct and memorable mascot along with bold text.  This helps others get to know the groups affiliated with the coins easily.

Custom challenge coins boost esteem.  They encourage individuals in group settings to be leaders.  Since World War I, challenge coins have been used to reward the efforts of worthy individuals.  That’s why ROTC programs love creating their own custom challenge coins to giveaway to their graduates.

Don’t let another opportunity pass you by.  Create custom challenge coins for your ROTC program today.  Visit http://www.challengecoinsplus.com, email info@challengecoinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  We can’t wait to get started on your design and bring recognition to your officers.
