The 480th Fighter Squadron is an active United States Air Force unit. It is stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany and is assigned to the 52nd Operations Group. Like other military units, the 480th is a very proud group and display its pride through the creation of its custom challenge coins.
We recently created the coin pictured here for the 480th Fighter Squadron. As you can see from the photo, a lot of thought and detail went into the design.
