Foundations of all sorts are established in an effort to provide help and assistance towards the cause they represent. During wartime many foundations are keyed in on helping soldiers returning from war. Many of these foundations have included challenge coins in the care package they provide to returning soldiers and their families.
The David Lynch Foundation, for example, was established to help people heal from traumatic stress. The help they provide is spread out over all age groups from young school aged children to adults returning from war.
We worked with the David Lynch foundation to develop a challenge coin design that honors the veterans they serve. We were able to incorporate the foundation’s name and logo on one side of the coin and the opposite side of the coins features the seal of the five branches of the military. It was important to include all five branches on the challenge coins since their service is provide to members of all five branches.
The coin is plated in high polished silver and has a custom bezel edge to enhance the overall look. Decorative edges are one of the quickest ways to change the look of our custom challenge coins. In addition to bezel edges, we offer:
