There are a couple of different options for adding sequential numbering to the coins. One option is to create a raised are on the face of the coin where the numbers can be laser engraved. This numbering can be done on either the front or backside of the coin. The other option is to add the sequential numbers to the outside edge of the challenge coins. We use this option when the design of the coin does not leave room to effectively place the number on the face of the coin.

The numbers can be as custom made to order as the challenge coins themselves. The typical sequence is starting with 001 and ending with the number that corresponds with the total number of coins ordered. However, in many cases a customer may want to repeat a few numbers or use a sequential pattern that is more unique like 1/100 – 100/100.
