The Wounded Warrior Project honors and empowers wounded warriors. Its vision is to “foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded warriors in this nation’s history”. Its purpose is to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
Balfour Beaty Construction had us produce these special coins. They were the construction company responsible for building the headquarters. The coins themselves were for the ribbon cutting ceremony and had to be delivered on time. We, fortunately, were able to create the coins for them and have them to their doorstep in time for their special event.
Decorative Edges and 3D Images Make Challenge Coins Stand Out
We added a beautiful rope border to each side of the challenge coin to give it definition. A red, white and blue American Flag waving in the breeze dominates the front of the coin which has the company name along with their promise to each client. The back has a hand sculpted 3D picture of 2 soldiers carrying one of their wounded warriors to safety.
