Hurst United Soccer Association (HUSA) is a non-profit youth soccer association located within the City of Hurst and consisting of Recreational Soccer and Academy Developmental Soccer. Recreational soccer is for ages 4 to 19. It is HUSA's objective to encourage personal growth and achievement, promote team cooperation and unity, and advocate sportsmanship by providing athletic participation in "the most popular sport in the world." Giving young athletes the skills they need to be successful on and off the soccer field is one of the group’s main objectives.
Custom Challenge Coins Make Great Additions to Welcome Bags
Hurst United Soccer Association holds an annual soccer tournament every Thanksgiving. This year, they wanted to include a custom made coin in the welcome bag that each competitor received upon registration. It was very important for the customer that we include the logo for this year’s tournament. They also wanted to recognize the league that was hosting the tournament.

Our coin provided the perfect canvas to show this information because we have two sides to work with. The coin that we designed for the customer needed an offset printed image on one side because the customer wanted colors to overlap one another so that their logo would be represented exactly as their corporate marketing division requires.
Traditional die struck coins like the front side of the coin must have metal separating colors. This means that no two colors and touch. As you can see on the “Turkey Shoot” side, the colors needed to be overlapped and intertwined in order to stay true to the design.
