- Standard Edge or Flat Edge – Most common type of edge and is included at no additional cost.
- Rope Edge – A great look for coins with a nautical theme or for US Navy challenge coins.
- Oblique Edge – This type of edge is available at an additional cost. It consists of a series of swirled lines around the border of the coin. The edges of the lines are brightly polished and the directions of the lines almost give an appearance of a circular motion. Oblique edges are the most common border upgrade for the challenge coins we produce.
- Bezel Edge – Also a very popular edge upgrade for the challenge coins we produce. The bezel edge is made of dips and high points around the edge of the coin. Each high and low point reflects the light differently giving a very classic look to the edge of the coin.
- Cross Cut Edge also known as Diamond Cut – An additional fee applies to a cross cut edge as well. The lines are cut in a crisscross pattern forming diamonds shapes on the edge of the coin. This challenge coin edge gives off the brightest shine of all the edges because the direction of the cuts reflects the most light off the surface of the coin.
