Advantages of Silkscreen on Lapel Pins

Posted by Lapel Pins Plus | Friday March 16th, 2012 | Topic: Lapel Pins
Silkscreening on lapel pins has many great uses.  Silkscreening refers to the process of laying down an ink like substance to the face of a lapel pin though a stencil process.  One great fact to know about silkscreening is that is the only type of pin that can cover the outside edge with color (see blog image). Silkscreens are also great for tiny details.  If you have a logo that you don’t want a metal border surrounding each color, then silkscreening is the way to go.  We can match any color out there, just let us know what you have in mind. Did you know that we can add silkscreen to the raised surface of our pins?  Most commonly, we do this with our cloisonné style pins.  This gives you a few more options for your customizing your lapel pins. Silkscreening names onto pins make them more personal.  Many baseball and softball teams choose this option.  They also request player numbers on the pins. This adds a personal touch to them and creates the impression that the pins are higher in perceived value than ones without this information included on them.  At pin trading events the ones that are the most unique get swapped first. Contact one of our qualified, experienced representatives to find out how we can use silkscreening for your pins.  Visit https://lapelpinsplus.com/, email info@lapelpinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free for more information.  We can’t wait to get started on your custom silkscreened lapel pins.
