Car clubs exist all across our great country.From exotic sports cars to domestic work horses, almost every car has a club of members that follow.Recently, we were able to help a car club of Porsche enthusiasts. Using the customer’s design ideas, we came up with a product that they could be proud of.
Car badges are typically larger version of the lapel pins that we make. They are much thicker thin a lapel pin but the way that they are die struck is the same. Most car badges are around 3” to 4” in size whereas a common lapel pin is about 1” in size.
We drill 2 holes in the car badge so that it can be mounted by our customers. Sometimes, enthusiasts mount them to their actual car but often times they are displayed in an office setting or in the workshop. This gives other people the opportunity to look at the car badge and know what it means to its owner.
Car badges are also typically done in our cloisonné style. With a high jewelry-like finish, these pieces of art are impressive to say the least. They have a perceived value that is higher than many other types of products. That’s why our customers love them so much.
