Rotary International is a worldwide organization consisting of service clubs known as Rotary Clubs. The organization brings together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Membership is to people of all races, colors, creeds, genders, or political preferences.

There are 33,976 clubs and over 1.22 million members worldwide.  Rotarians meet on a weekly basis usually for breakfast, lunch or dinner to discuss goals and to come up with common solutions to any issues that may have come up.  The organization’s best-known motto is “Service above Self,” and its secondary motto is “They profit most who serve best”.

One Symbol and Many Uses

We create custom rotary pins for clubs all over the world.  Most incorporate the Rotary International Emblem which is a yellow colored gear (see example here in this blog).  Pins are used in many different ways.  Here are just a few that we see often:

  • To display membership
  • To promote awareness for a particular service project or a cause that the individual rotary club is involved in
  • Conference pins where multiple clubs meet
  • Thank you pins for business that donate time, money and other resources to benefit a local rotary project

Lapel Pins Are Versatile and Valuable

The versatility and value of lapel pins make them an excellent tool for rotary clubs to use.  One of the most appealing aspects of custom lapel pins is the fact that they can be created in all sizes, shapes, and colors.  They don’t have to be round.  In fact, they can be cut to any shape at no additional cost.

Ways That Youth Get Involved in Their Local Rotary Club

High schools have rotary clubs that get students involved in helping their communities through service projects and volunteering with the hopes that once they graduate and become part of the working society, they will get involved with their local rotary club.  This helps build presence in a city and assists those in need more efficiently and effectively.

Our art department is ready to help you come up with your next rotary lapel pin design.  Just give us an idea of what you envision and let us do the rest.  We can transform the simplest ideas into the most spectacular lapel pins.
