The Peter Pan Children’s Fund encourages children, young adults, and adults to be philanthropists.  The funds that their volunteers raise help support children’s hospitals worldwide and associate programs that focus on prevention, family support, research, and rehabilitation.

Peter Pan, the beloved boy who would never grow up, was gifted by playwright and novelist Sir James Barrie to the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital (GOSH) in London.  Since then, the iconic figure has become a cultural phenomenon and one the world’s greatest philanthropists.

Soft Enamel and Cloisonne Are Both Style Options

The charitable group contacted us because they wanted a special lapel pin to hand out that featured their logo.  After submitting their design idea to us, we were able to come up with artwork in both soft enamel and cloisonne.  This allowed the Peter Pan Children’s Fund to decide which option was right for them.

Lapel Pins Are Versatile Which Make Them Perfect for Charities

Custom lapel pins like the ones we created for the Peter Pan Children’s Fund are great for a number of reasons.  First and foremost,  they are rich in detail and personal meaning.  We used the charitable organization’s logo to highlight the different areas of philanthropy it represents.  Next, they are portable which makes it easy to spread the message about the fund and what it hopes to accomplish.  Last but not least, they make great gift items for donors.

Clear Acrylic Boxes Make Great Presentation Options

Special events call for special presentation options.  In fact, we highly recommend a clear acrylic box to place each lapel pin in.  This gives the recipients of the award something to look forward to.  It also presents a professional appearance in the community.

Different Backing Options Provide Great Flexibility

Different backing options provide great flexibility which is good for the many different types of recipients of these custom lapel pins.  Here are a few of the ones that we have to offer:

  • Butterfly Clutch
  • Rubber Clutch
  • Magnetic Backing
  • Safety Pin Clasp
  • Locking Jewelry Clutch

You’re never too young to make a difference in the world.  If your organization promotes youth philanthropy, you may find some inspiration in what the Peter Pan Children’s Fund does.  Give Lapel Pins Plus a call at 1-800-252-0904 or email info@lapelpinsplus.com today to learn how you can use lapel pins to help others in need.
