With spring’s arrival come the much anticipated activities of Girl Scouts Across America. As a matter of fact we get excited when we receive requests that include a hand drawn design from one of the girls. Usually, a troop will have several designs created by the scouts. The troop then takes a vote, known as the patch contest, and the winning design is selected. This design eventually becomes yet another Girl Scout patch that we have the pleasure of creating.
This Year’s Patch Contest Winner
As you can see in the images above, the sketch submitted by one scout is now the troop’s iconic patch. Filled with the brightness, excitement, and fun of childhood, this patch truly says a lot about the troop as well as the scout that designed it. This just goes to show how far children’s talents will take them with the right amount of encouragement and support. To successfully use a scout’s hand drawn design, there are a couple of steps the troop leaders must take:
1. Scan the hand drawn design into your computer system
2. Contact us with your custom embroidered patch request by emailing info@embroideredpatchesplus.com or calling 1-866-511-0381.
3. Email us the scanned patch design
4. Sit back, relax and let us take care of the rest
