Using Design Features to Make the Purpose Evident
The purpose of the custom challenge coin was to give it as a gift to those who helped fund the construction of a new “Economic Crime and Justice Studies” building. It features the university’s exclusive logo and motto of “Transformation, Opportunity, and Tradition” in gold letters. The college’s official colors and name are in plain sight. Intricate details including an image of the building and a list of the majors available through the respective department are presented on the opposite side. What may not be obvious is the amount of attention that was paid to the coins edge.
