Merrill Lynch has Military Coins Made in Honor of Veteran’s Day

With Veteran’s Day fast approaching, Merrill Lynch decided not to wait until the last minute in preparing its tribute to their military affiliated customers.  The company, which is responsible for the world’s largest financial institutions, needed a custom challenge coin that was attractive and versatile in its uses.

On one hand the challenge coin would serve as a thank you gift for customers that have served in the Armed Forces.  On the other hand it needed to tastefully promote the company.  Merrill Lynch brought its request and ideas to Challenge Coins Plus and we were able to help them design a coin that met all of their needs. A Custom Military Challenge Coin Unlike Any Other

With the idea of extending thanks to different groups on one product, we were able to craft a coin for the customer that serves as a remarkably unique and memorable gift. Merrill Lynch’s plans to mail the coin to its veteran customers also adds to its value by promoting the company’s presence throughout the community.  It is obvious from the challenge coin’s design how it lends itself to more than one purpose.

Double-sided designs make it possible to feature detailed information about a business or organization, its mission, and the special event that it is celebrating.  In the case of Merrill Lynch, there are several features that make the company’s custom challenge coin design special.

The coin is double-sided, has an antique finish, and is plated in gold. On the front stands an attentive and proud bull that is the essence of strength and trust. The company name and state along with a declaration of support for its veterans is boldly displayed in rich dark letters.  These dark letters are the antiquing that is in the recessed areas of the coin.  Flip the coin over to find images of our nation’s flag, a bald eagle, and announcement of this year’s Veteran’s Day.  Recognition of all five military branches-Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and the Coast Guard- brings all the elements of the design together.

Saying thank you to and honoring those that fought and continue to fight for our freedom is important to us.  We were happy to help Merrill Lynch with their special tribute and would like to help you turn your design ideas into a special gift for the individuals or group that you are commemorating.   You can reach us at 1-800-252-0904 or email us with your challenge coin needs at info@challengecoinsplus.com.
