How to Get the Most Out of Your Custom Lapel Pin Order If you are looking for ways to get more bang for your buck, custom lapel pins are the right option for you.  In addition to featuring your company or organization’s artwork, these versatile promotional items can be used for a variety of different purposes and occasions.

A few of the most common ways custom lapel pins are used include:

  • To advertise a new product or service
  • To announce an upcoming event
  • To reward a job well done
  • To encourage teamwork
  • To trade with others
  • To mark an event or occasion

How to Make Your Lapel Pins Unique

Personalization is the key to making a long lasting connection with your customers and employees.  You can easily alter the appearance of your design by choosing different plating options or add different color fills to the same mold for an entirely new look.  One of our customers was able to stretch his budget by having his lapel pin design plated in two different colors—silver and gold at no additional cost.  We often do this for customers who are trying to achieve different rankings with their lapel pin orders.  Gold, silver, and bronze pins can be used to recognize First, Second, and Third Place at sporting events and academic competitions.

We also helped a customer create four unique lapel pins using one design and a multitude of colors.  This allowed him to award different groups of people lapel pins for their achievements without adding expense to his order.  He ordered over 200 pins from us and was very pleased by the extra steps that we took to ensure that his order was 100% satisfactory.

You can also request a variety of sizes and shapes to compliment your design.  Certain graphics call for larger or smaller lapel pins.  Different occasions may dictate a certain style of pin.  Die Struck is often used for Employee Recognition events and Years of Service Awards whereas Soft Enamel is complimentary for custom Trading Pins.  Add-ons like glitter, blinking lights, sliding and spinning pieces, and Bobble Heads can compliment many designs.

Different styles of backings can also change the appearance of your custom lapel pins.  You can choose a Safety Pin Clasp, a Locking Jewelry Clutch, a Magnetic Backing or a Cufflink Attachment in place of the standard Butterfly Clutch or Rubber Clutch.  These items enhance the appearance of your designs and also give you added security when attaching these items to articles of clothing, bags or hats.

Custom lapel pins are a great value.  Due to their unique design and various uses, they remain a favorite in both personal and professional settings.
