Graduation is an important milestone shared by people of all ages and occupations.  Custom lapel pins help celebrate this event by providing students with a keepsake rich with personal meaning and achievement.  In addition to being handed out with diplomas and degrees, lapel pins are also used in the following ways:

  • To show school pride.
  • To honor a lost classmate or teacher.
  • To signify membership in a club or sports team.
  • To come together as a class.
  • To provide distinction to different colleges on the same campus (teachers wear apples, architects wear rulers, technology teachers wear computers).

Due to their personal nature, custom lapel pins are seldom the same.  By simply switching up chosen color combinations, standard designs take on a completely different appearance.  The same can be said about a variety of sizes and shapes.  Schools and universities can create standout lapel pins for their graduates by keeping that information in mind.

Certain designs call for a specific type of lapel pin.  Many schools and universities lean towards Die Struck pins because of their traditional look and timeless appeal.  Gemstones can be added to the pins as a way of acknowledging esteemed students and faculty or members of the National Honor Society.

Graduation lapel pins are very common.  They can even be worn on a cap or a gown and can be pinned on during a Ceremony.  Nursing schools, military academies, community colleges, and universities create Cloisonné, Soft Enamel, and Die Struck pins for their graduates as a way of commending them for their achievements and providing them with a piece of memorabilia to look back at years after they have walked across the stage.
